FROG HAVEN FARM MINIATURE HORSES
It is "Alice in Wonderland" when you come see the mini horses! Everything is half pint sized - the horses, the fences, the carts, and the tack. They are so cute! We always have available weanlings, geldings, stallions, and occasionally mares.
We handle our minis when they are first born and put kids on their backs before they are 6 months old (and when I kids, I mean children, not goats). We also train the minis to pull carts and to be child-friendly. Colors abound - from black, chestnuts, palomino, buckskin, and lots of appaloosa spots! We will post new arrivals as they become available but feel free to call and ask.
We also offer stud service and can castrate any stallion if you would prefer a gelding. We can train your mini to your specifications (perhaps you want a service horse?). Many of our minis have gone on to excel as mini-jumpers and halter prospects. The larger minis make excellent children's ponies at 10-13 hands, or cart horses. We work with other mini breeders so if you want something registered, or from show stock, we can refer you to the right place.
We also offer Exmoor Ponies. These are ponies of the moors of Ireland and they are fine-boned small sturdy-bred equines. They are very calm and gentle and make excellent cart horses and children's mounts. The closest thing to bomb proof that I have seen. Just call or e-mail us and we will send you photos and availability.
