My name is Valerie...welcome to Frog Haven Farms. With both my husband and me being veterinarians we just had a natural tendency toward animals. So, after we settled in Loudoun County, Virginia (where my husband's family has been for over 200 years) we started farming.
Established in 1989, on our first farm in located in Loudoun County, we began raising sheep. We named it Frog Haven because large portions of the property are natural stream and wetlands where frogs abound. As the years went by, five other farms were added to the enterprise, each specializing in a different product. After our son left the nest (or pond I guess would be more accurate), we have added Galloway Belted cattle, miniature cattle, miniature horses, pygmy goats and fainting goats to the animals we have available for sale. Our philosophy is to have fun while farming, to enjoy ourselves and the animals we we get to know them through the years.
Join us for a tour of our farms and stock...
